Speaker Stand

I made this piece on my own time to create a way to hold my living room speakers off the ground, under the screen of my projector. This was the origin of the design language that I used in my Projector Table.

Wenge is an interesting wood. If you look closely, the edge banding is different on this piece than on the projector table. The wood looks very different depending on how it is cut off the tree. In my chair, the wood has a strong zebra stripe pattern. The edges of those pieces appear with tight, subtle stripes (seen below). If the tree is divided 90 degrees, the major side of the wood has these thin stripes, putting the zebra stripe on the side. This second pattern is what appears on the projector table.
