Protect Me From What I Want
I was recently invited to attend the opening of the BMW Art Car exhibition at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Only 4 of the several pieces that BMW has commissioned over the years. They included: Andy Warhol’s M1, Frank Stella’s 3.0 CSL, Roy Lichtenstein’s 320i and R. Rauschenberg’s 635csi. Photos after the jump.

I would have liked to see Jenny Holzer’s V12 LMR, which is the inspiration for my headline. Although all the cars are amazing in their own way, I really liked the way Lichtenstein’s car portrayed all the experiences a car goes through, the road lines passing by and the sun overhead.
